Exploring and Talking Race Workshops
Wylea Chase and Kari Primozic, workshop facilitators are committed to the heart and mind work of racial justice. We are using our passion for conversation about race and our professional DEI experience to empower people in communities, schools and workplaces with the conversation skills needed to be brave enough to talk about race in healthy ways. We do this work together as a Black woman and a White Women - who are on the journey of improving ourselves and the world in racial justice.

If you are looking for a DEI style workshop that offers an interactive and intrapersonal experience, then "Exploring and Talking Race" is for your team, staff or group.​​​​​

We have developed a structure and basic strategy for a conversation and coaching based workshop that focuses on participants racial identity, history and the impact of both in day-to-day life. We are using our background, expertise and commitment to a more unified future to lead this workshop with care and respect for all.

This workshop is offered in two methods: Affinity for white people and as an all-races group. If your organization is majority white, we suggest choosing the affinity-based group for white people. ​

Wylea and Kari both facilitate workshops and groups and are deeply committed to DEI volunteer work in their community. They have known each other for 8 years and have evolved as colleagues, PTA moms and as friends. Wylea works as the Chief Operating Officer of the Black and Brown Coalition; and Kari is a Professional Coach with Courageous Living About Me | courageousliving (kariprimozic.com). Wylea and Kari have worked as navigators, facilitating Race Equity Trainings and groups, with Wayfinding Partners, a Black-woman-owned, justice-driven consulting firm dedicated to individual, organizational, and community transformation.
